Commissioner Laurie A. Williams has been a serving member of the fire service since September 1977 and was appointed Commissioner of the Jamaica Fire Brigade on 1st July, 2007.
Mr. Williams holds a Master of Arts Degree in Management from Coventry University and he also holds the Diploma in Brigade Command from the Fire Service College in England.
Mr. Williams is currently serving as the General Secretary of the Caribbean Association of Fire Chiefs, and is a Justice of the Peace.
