A Turntable Ladder is a self-supporting and power-operating extension ladder mounted on a turntable. The ladder itself usually consist of a main ladder, secured by a strong pivot bearing to the swinging frame, and three or four extensions which extend telescopically. When fully extended at maximum elevation a Turntable Ladder should reach a height of 30.5 to 33.5 m above the ground.
