"Saving Lives, Protecting Property"


DONATION OF FIRE TRUCK
TO JAMAICA FIRE BRIGADE FLEET

General Safety/Rosebauer America and the Minnesota State Fire Chiefs Association recently made a donation of a Mack Fire Truck to the Jamaica Fire Brigade. The pumper which was originally assigned to the Plymouth Fire Department, Minneapolis, Minnesota, has a water capacity of 3,000 litres.

In a thank you letter to the donors Commissioner Benson conveyed sincere thanks for the pumper which, he said, “will be a useful addition to the Brigade’s fleet of operational vehicles.”

Echoing the motto of the Jamaica Fire Brigade he assured the donors that the truck will be put to good use as the Brigade continues the fight of “Saving Lives, Protecting Property” in Jamaica.
